This is a very large dual gantry LK CMM located in the tooling center of Boeing in Wichita, KS.
This is a view from the top of Gantry #2.
This is a view looking along the north side of the X-axis.
This is the south side of the machine where the X-axis is located. A 1" hole had to be drilled into the granite every 200 millimeters
and an aluminum dowl plug glued into place to facilitate mounting of the scale extrusions.
This is a view of the north side X-axis scale. All signal cabling came through this leg and passed into the floor through sizeable
cable tracks. All cables has to be replaced due to signal upgrade to 1volt (peak to peak) signal levels.
